Where have you been? Where are you going? And why?
This week’s quotation needs some context. In my literature class, we read a novel that has a character particularly skilled in breaking codes. One of the codes he works with is actually found in an almanac, which is significant given the setting of 1700’s America. In that time, virtually every household possessed one. One of my assignments recently was to challenge the students to think through what book they would use in today’s world and their reasoning, keeping in mind that it would have to be a book many households contained. This was by far my most interesting and humorous student answer.
I picked the Bible for my Book because it is easy to decode, and you can Never read the whole book.
